Inspired by a love letter to travel.
With influence taken from the Shutters On The Beach Hotel in Santa Monica, the Shutters Printed Silk Kaftan is a stunning new addition to the Suzannah London Vacation Collection.
Channelling 1960s-Americana, this pure silk kimono dress features a sensational orchid artwork, designed in collaboration with Kate Scott, an award winning fine artist.
The orchid artwork is printed onto premium Italian silk crepe de chine by our expert silk mill in Como, Italy. The kimono is colour-blocked, with the body in black-based silk, and a contrast white-based silk orchid print placed at the sleeves.
With a concealed opening at the front, this kaftan can be worn open as a soft jacket or closed as a dress when cinched with its detachable soft tie belt . Perfect to be worn over a bikini with a pair of mules, or worn open as a soft jacket over a simple t-shirt and slim trousers.
Kate Scott specialises in digital painting, and her work has been showcased in Italian Vogue & throughout Italy and England in venues such as London's Saatchi gallery.
