The print has been developed together with artist Julia Langley. We have interpreted Julia’s 'Sophora' oil painting into this unique textile design which has been digitally printed in Italy onto pure silk cloth.

The fresh white with porcelain blues and chocolate brown wind imaginatively around the form, creating a mesmerising and supremely flattering piece of wearable art.

Based on our best-selling Grandad silk tea dress silhouette, the Georgina has elegant and flattering proportions with smocking at the empire, as well as the shoulders and cuffs, capturing the 1930s original inspiration. The skirt is bias cut, falling to a midi length.

The dress is lined in silk from empire to hemline, and features an invisible centre back zip for step-in ease, as well as a discreet mother of pearl button on the inside neck, which allows you to wear the neckline closed if desired.

This dress can easily be styled with a sort knitwear and flats or boots for day, or with stunning millinery and heels for special events.

We've chosen to style with a stunning piece of classic millinery, 'The Lawn Boater' created in collaboration with British milliner Ruth Ravenscroft.
