The Amalfi is a great versatile summer straw hat.
This super stylish piece of headwear is hand blocked in England after being made from cuenca weave straw using artisan techniques by a small local community in Ecuador.
The hat is trimmed with a chic wide leather hand punched band, which is produced without chrome in the tanning process. This style features an elasticated cotton ribbon inside to help secure a comfortable fit.
Designed in collaboration with talented British milliner Ruth Merlin Ravenscroft, this hat is a sustainable addition to the Suzannah London collection.
Personalised monogram bands are available made to order. Our monogramming service is £80 and takes approximately two weeks to be made. Any monogrammed orders are non-returnable.

Sized by head circumference measurement (measured around the fullest part of the head):
Small: 55cm
Medium: 57cm
Large: 59cm
In between wearing, this hat is best stored carefully packed in tissue in its box. Pack this hat upside down with plenty of tissue paper underneath to support the brim.
Avoid leaving it out in the sun when not worn as the straw will become brittle over time.This can be avoided by giving it a light mist of water occasionally and letting it dry thoroughly before re packing.
Any straw left in the sun will either fade or become a deeper tone of gold over time.When this eventually happens it adds charm and character to a casual hat.
Hats and headbands may be subject to delivery and higher return charges than usual, due to the considerable extra volumetric weight.
